Green Valley Waystation is one of many way-stations set up on the road between Phanes Bay and the Penance Gravel Mines. The journey from Phanes Bay to the mines is long, especially when using horses, so the military has fortified encampments set up along the road. Military patrols move between stations throughout the day to discourage other settlements from using the roads. Green Valley Waystation is stocked with supplies for workers and horses moving between the city and the mines. The Waystation is equipped with mounted crossbows to fight raiders. It also has a large pyre of wood that can be lit to send a warning signal to the patrols which is then relayed to the other stations, eventually getting word back to Phanes Bay. Green Valley Waystation is a common stop for prisoner transports heading to the mine, so it is equipped with holding cells. Green Valley Waystation is on the site of an old RV dealership. The military has used the leftover vehicles to blockade the road and divert traffic through the waystation.
